The challenge

The store sold hand-built kits through an improvised system: every combo was a separate product, disconnected from the real inventory of its components, hard to maintain and hard to scale to new kits.

What I did

• Migrated the skincare and makeup kits to Shopify’s Bundles app, using the real products as components instead of a separate SKU.
• Recalculated each bundle’s discount so the final price stayed the same for customers who already knew it, and inventory history stayed correct.
• Documented the kit-building process so the team can create new combos without depending on me or touching code.
• Manage the catalog, seasonal promotions and Shopify app installs/configuration on an ongoing basis.
